22nd World Wind Energy Conference WWEC2025

The World Wind Energy Association (WWEA) and the Chinese Wind Energy Association are pleased to announce the 22nd World Wind Energy Conference (WWEC2025), taking place on 3-5 December in Shantou City, Guangdong Province, China.
The main theme of WWEC2025 is “Empowering the Future with Wind Energy: Innovation, Collaboration, and Sustainable Growth”, referring to the important contributions wind power is making for the future of our planet.
The World Wind Energy Conference (WWEC) is a prestigious event dedicated to advancing the global wind energy sector. Since its inception, the conference has served as a vital platform for stakeholders to discuss innovations, share knowledge, and explore collaborative opportunities within the industry.
Organized jointly by the China Wind Energy Association (CWEA) and the World Wind Energy Association (WWEA), WWEC2025 will contribute to the continued growth and development of the global wind energy industry, empowering the future with sustainable, clean energy solutions.
The official conference languages will be English and Chinese.

The online submission form is available on www.wwec2025.org.cn on March 7th, 2025. Abstracts should be submitted here.
Abstracts format:
All abstracts should be written in English, be concise and clearly state results, objectives or key components of the paper – as well as the topic to which it belongs. They should not exceed 500 words and should contain a list of key words. Abstracts should be submitted before 30 April online, the upload link will be provided in early March.

WWEA is an international association with members in more than 100 countries that represents the wind energy sector worldwide. Top national and regional wind energy associations belong to it. Chinese Wind Energy Association (CWEA) is a secondary professional branch of China Renewable Energy Society (a social organization approved and established by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of China). As an important platform for foreign technical exchanges and industrial cooperation of Chinese wind energy, and a crucial link between the governments, enterprises and public institutions, CWEA has always been committed to providing preliminary research and support services for the formulation of new energy and wind energy policies & plans by government departments. It aims to facilitate the innovative breakthroughs of wind energy technology and the high-quality development of the wind energy industry in China, also enhance the public's awareness and application of new energy. CWEA has established close collaborative relationships with more than 800 units, covering all parts of the wind energy industry chain, including wind farm design units, wind energy developers, engineering construction units, O&M companies, equipment manufacturers, technical service providers, financial and insurance institutions, scientific research institutes, universities etc.
WWEC is the world’s principal event organized by WWEA which gathers together top international experts, not only in wind energy but also in other renewable energies.
